Planet Assistant - Update Released - v1.7.0
Planet Assistant version 1.7.0 has been released with the following key updates:
- macOS Compatibility: Resolved numerous compatibility issues on macOS. Note: Support for the Dark theme is still being refined and will be optimized in future versions.
- Search Optimization: Optimized the local post database search, significantly reducing lag. A progress window has been added for large-scale searches (though these will naturally be slower than smaller datasets).
- Database Stability: Optimized the local database startup and shutdown processes to prevent orphaned database processes when the software crashes.
- Auto-Migration: Data directory migration is now automated, removing the need for manual file moves.
- Download Alerts: Added a notification when a Planet prohibits attachment downloads. Note: Direct extraction of links contained within posts is still in development due to its complexity.
- UI Enhancements: Adjusted the button layout in the "Search" interface and made minor UI refinements across the app.
